Coffee table Gueridon BAS is designed by French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé and manufactured by Atelier Jean Prouvé in France in the early 1940s.The first version of this table was also called African table.

Jean Prouvé was a French designer. During his lifetime, he created restrained metal objects that rejected excess decoration. Working with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand as well as Le Corbusier, Prouvé created his simple yet breathtaking furniture.
