CP-BAHUT-4
Cansado Bahut storage unit with four sliding doors, designed by Charlotte Perriand for Cité Cansado, Mauritania, produced by Galerie Steph Simon, circa 1958. The structure is sheet metal, its slits for the shelf holders left visible, giving it an industrial character. Wood top and metal structure are joined with screws typical of the Atelier Jean Prouvé. The units vary in width, alternating black and white in an irregular rhythm. Each panel has two holes, used as handles. The case rests on two black metal bars.Dimensions:
