Armless lounge chair, designed by Pierre Jeanneret, ca. 1955, for the High Court and various administrative buildings in Chandigarh. The upholstery is L-shaped, with a sharp, geometric quality. The A-shaped compass legs, in contrast, are rounded. Reduced to these two simple geometries, the chair has a minimalist, distinctive contour. It forms a set with the sofa PJ-SI-36-B.
