JP-RED DAYBED

JP-RED DAYBED
Red bed with an integrated nightstand, designed by Jean Prouvé and Jules Leleu, circa 1934-1936, produced by the Ateliers Jean Prouvé in Nancy, France, for the sanatorium Martel de Janville in Assy. A simple geometry: the flat foot and head sections read like slices, while the nightstand is an asymmetric, sculptural element. Its drawer, fitted with a round knob, pivots open at the corner, following an arc.Dimensions:
