Designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1950 for the housing projects of Cité Cansado in Mauritania.
The design combines a robust black steel base with a refined wood structure, complemented by white and black lacquered sliding doors with integrated wooden handles. It stands as an exemplar of mid-century functionalism and modular storage design.
