Armchair No. 1, designed by Donald Judd in 1984, produced by Lehni, Switzerland. Flat copper panels, joined at right angles, form the back, the sides, the seat and a lower shelf. A boxy form. More an idea of a chair than a chair. An object for the intellect, with a cultic aura.
