Armchair, designed by Pierre Jeanneret in 1955. Constructed from simple, straightforward beams, without pretence to refinement. The rounded A-shaped legs are a characteristic element of Jeanneret's Chandigarh vocabulary. The contrast between the massive wood frame and caning is remarkable.
