Wall lamp, known as "Projecteur" or "LC III", designed by Le Corbusier, circa 1960, for his buildings in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. The shade is thin sheet metal, painted grey-blue, its cone cut at an angle so it curls like a shell rather than sitting as a plain cylinder. A bracket of square-profile bars carries the shade and can be turned to direct its light. Two bulbs are fitted at either end of the shade.
