A witness stand, or "accused cabin," designed by Le Corbusier, circa 1955, for the High Court on the Capitol in Chandigarh, one of eight courtrooms. Its form derives from the Harmonic Spiral, a diagram Le Corbusier used throughout his work to plot the proportions of Modulor Man. Extruded in plan and generated by golden section proportions.
