So-called "Writing chair", designed by Pierre Jeanneret circa 1960. Made from solid teak, with a shelf under the seat. Originally, it was a university chair. The integrated desk is an expressive key element, bringing an interesting imbalance and tension to the shape. A small shelf under the seat was designed to hold books. It is a sculpture, showing the university reality of Chandigarh.
