Table "Forme Libre," designed by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1957, executed by André Chetaille for Galerie Steph Simon, for the Unité d'Habitation Air France in Brazzaville, Congo. The organically curved top is built from solid beams, with visible square joints on the ends and rounded joints on the sides. The edges are softly angled and rounded. Three legs support it: two cylindrical, one wider and streamlined. This table was part of a project-specific commission, not the version available directly through Galerie Steph Simon.
