CP-BAHUT-5

CP-BAHUT 5
Cansado Bahut storage unit with five sliding doors, designed by Charlotte Perriand for Cité Cansado, Mauritania, produced by Galerie Steph Simon, circa 1958. The melamine doors vary in width, each with two simple, round holes as handles. The sheet metal structure shows a grid of slits for the inner shelves, giving it an industrial character. The wood panels are joined to the metal sheets with visible two-hole screws, as found in Jean Prouvé's furniture. The case rests on two black metal legs, like a bridge.Dimensions:
