Wall-mounted shelf, called "Nuage" since it appears to float, designed by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1958, for the Cité Cansado project in Mauritania. Manufactured by Négroni and Métal Meuble for Galerie Steph Simon, Paris. U-shaped black metal elements create niches and hold the shelf together, connected with metal screws produced by Jean Prouvé.
