"Tabouret Berger" high stool, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1947, whose name is taken from the milking stools of Alpine shepherds. The three legs are hand-turned, column-like, swelling towards the middle before they splay to the floor. A round seat sits above them, its edge chamfered and its surface lightly dished.
